COSA VEDERE A PRAGA – SIGHTSEEING IN PRAGUE

Com’è andato il vostro Blackfriday? Sono stati utili i miei consigli di shopping?
Oggi torno da voi per raccontarvi la mia ultima esperienza a Praga. Avevo già avuto occasione di visitarla circa 10 anni fa, ma devo ammettere che non la ricordavo così bella.

Ho soggiornato presso due hotel in due zone completamente diverse della città e ho molti consigli da darvi su come spostarvi e cosa vedere.

Per i primi 4 giorni la nostra casa è stata l’Emblem Hotel, un favoloso 5 stelle nel cuore della città a due passi (letteralmente) dalla piazza principale. La struttura è nuova, il design curato nel dettaglio, lo staff gentile e disponibile e la comodità della posizione ci ha permesso di visitare a piedi gran parte del centro.

Today I come back to you with an article about my last experience in Prague. I had already had a chance to visit this wonderful city about 10 years ago, but I have to admit that Iit has been like the first time.

I stayed at two hotels in two completely different areas of the city and I have many tips to give you on how to move around and what to see.
For the first 4 days our home was the Emblem Hotel, a fabulous 5 star hotel in the heart of the city just 10 steps away (literally) from the main square.
The property is new, the detail designed, the friendly and helpful staff and the convenience of the location allowed us to walk to much of the downtown area.

Il resto del soggiorno l’abbiamo passato al Design  Hotel Neruda, esattamente dalla parte opposta del fiume Moldava. Una chicca molto speciale per chi ama rilassarsi, fuori dalla frenesia di una città piena di turisti e movimento 24h su 24.
Le camere sono assolutamente favolose e la struttura molto originale. Vi consiglio di dare un’occhiata al Sito Ufficiale e capire con i vostri occhi di cosa sto parlando.

We spent the rest of our stay at the Design Hotel Neruda, exactly on the opposite side of the Vltava River. A very special place for those who love to relax, out of the frenzy of a city full of tourists 24hours.
The rooms are absolutely fabulous and with a unique design. I recommend you take a look at the Website and understand with your eyes what I’m talking about.

Se state pensando di passare un weekend a Praga e siete indecisi su quale struttura scegliere vi consiglio di non basarvi sulla distanza dal centro perché a Praga i prezzi di Uber sono incredibilmente bassi! Noi abbiamo utilizzato Uber durante tutto il soggiorno ed è stato la nostra salvezza.

Per quanto riguarda dove deliziare il vostro palato durante il soggiorno, qui una lista di ristoranti che abbiamo provato personalmente e che vi consiglio di non perdere:

If you are planning to spend a weekend in Prague and are unsure of what structure to choose, I recommend you not to rely on the distance from the center because in Prague Uber prices are incredibly low! We used Uber throughout the stay and it was amazing.

Regarding where to delight your palate during your stay, here is a list of restaurants that we have personally experienced and I recommend you not to miss:

Kotleta:

Ci siamo innamorati dell’ospitalità dello staff di questo ristorante, grazie al quale abbiamo potuto provare gran parte dei piatti tipici cechi. Si trova nel cuore della città e vanta una scelta molto vasta di vini e prodotti locali di ottima qualità. Il menu cambia ogni 6 mesi, vorrei tornarci solo per provare tutti le nuove portate! Vi consiglio di visitarlo a pranzo, la cucina ceca non è esattamente leggera 😉

We fell in love with the hospitality of this restaurant, thanks to which we have been able to taste most of the typical Czech dishes. Kotleta is located in the heart of the city and offers a vast choice of top quality wines and local products of excellent quality. The menu changes every 6 months, I just want to go back to try all the new courses! I recommend you to visit it for lunch, Czech cuisine is not exactly light 😉

Intercontinental Prague:

All’ultimo piano di un favoloso Hotel, gode di una vista sulla città davvero magica. In questo caso parliamo di un ristorante più elegante, perfetto per una cena romantica. Gusti raffinati, ma sempre tipici del posto. Il menu è abbastanza vario, ma quello che vince in questo caso è l’atmosfera.

On the roof top of a fabulous hotel, it enjoys a magical view of the city. In this case the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner because of the elegance of the design. Fine tastes, but always typical of the place. The menu is quite varied, but the one that wins in this case is the atmosphere.

XL Restaurant:

Si tratta di un Grill and Bar molto carino situato a Praha4. Non spaventatevi se si trova un po’ “fuori mano”, come vi ho detto Uber è davvero conveniente (noi abbiamo speso 7€ in due). Qui il cibo non è tipico, ma sicuramente di ottima qualità.

A super nice Grill and Bar located in Praha4. Don’t be scared if you find the restaurante a bit out of the way, as I told you Uber is really convenient (we’ve spent $ 7 per two). Here the food is not typical, but definitely of the best quality.

LELI’S CUPCAKE:

Ci siamo assolutamente innamorati di questo piccolo cafè che offre una vastissima selezione di cupacke colorati e per ogni gusto! Un gioiello in centro città da non perdere se volete scaldarvi con una tazza di the prima di riprendere il tour della città! E’ un luogo molto speciale, l’atmosfera è rilassante e i Cupcakes tra i più buoni mai mangiati! Voto 10 e lode!

I absolutely fell in love with this little cafe offering a huge selection of colorful cupcakes of every taste! A jewel in the city center not to be missed if you want to warm yourself up with a cup of tea before taking the tour of the city! It’s a very special place, the atmosphere is relaxing and the best cupcakes ever eaten! Vote 10!
